Barbara Iadanza

Miss Barb is the coordinator of our Baby Program here at The Dance Factory. She teaches our Baby Gym, Baby Ballet and Rhythm & Tumbling programs and is our Office Coordinator. She was born in Miami, FL, then moved to New York City at the age of 5. There she studied all genres of Dance and then returned to Miami, FL and continued her Dance training.

She graduated from Southwest High School in 1977 and was married in 1979. Barbara then continued her studies at Miami Dade Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, while working in the Mommy and Me Program. She opened her own Mommy and Me Program in 1986 and ran/operated the program for 4 years. In 1993 she relocated to Dillonvale, Ohio with her husband and 3 children, where she resides now.

Barbara continued her education at Ohio University Eastern, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Beginning in 2010, she ran her own Daycare Program called “Miss Barb’s Daycare” for 5 years. She is currently a teacher at St Michael’s school.

Miss Barb has been involved in the “Dance World” for 35 years with her daughter Jessica- traveling, competing and now an extra hand in helping her run her own business.. The Dance Factory. Her 2 grandchildren are also a part of the “Dance World,’’ as current members of TDF competition teams.

With all of her education, knowledge and experience with Child Development, Miss Barb is definitely an asset to our studio.
